This is Mike Van de Elzen’s favourite kind of recipe

Simple and quick, but packs a real flavour punch. Words and recipe: Michael Van de Elzen Wow, what a year. It’s hard to believe 2021 is nearly upon us, however I don’t think I’m alone in looking forward to seeing the back of 2020. But like everything, it did have a silver lining in amongst all the unsettlement. The holidays are my favorite! Not being at home this month has me itching to decorate but I’ve slowly been ordering a few things to show up once we return so I can get into full Christmas mode. I bought this cute plate for Santa’s cookies, this beechwood star for the top of our tree and a few of these bottlebrush trees for our mantle. I’ve never been pregnant for the holidays but always love adding a little flare to my outfits so I’ve been trying to get creative with what I’ve got! Bring on all of the bows and...
