Hello friends and happy Monday! It’s a fresh new week and I’m all about it! I shared a good look at my weekend and saved it to my Instagram Story Highlights “LIFE” if you want to check it out. It was lots of time to myself with two baseball games thrown in. These weekends are roller coasters, but I’m learning to accept and make the most of them.
Today is a fun post with Nordstrom, one of my favorite places to shop. They never let me down when I need a fantastic outfit fast and I have four beautiful Fall friendly looks to share with you today.
Fall florals are a huge hit this season, along with the midi skirt trend and I’m here incorporating both into today’s post.
Top • Skirt • Similar Heels • Bag
You might think of florals for Spring and Summer, but when you add a moody background color, like this gorgeous deep blue, it instantly brings your florals into the cooler months like October and November.
I’m smitten with the sophisticated floral pattern on this silky skirt. And the blush colors compliment the blue in the skirt beautifully. It’s a high/low skirt, so higher in the front and longer in the back. I think the look is elegant and classy.
Top Fit: I’m wearing size XS, would prefer XSP
Skirt Fit: I’m wearing size XSP
For the first outfit, I paired the skirt with this richly colored silky top. The cut is different with a high neck, deep sides, and a tie at the shoulder. Because the arm holes are cut low, I’m wearing a bandeau bra with it.

This outfit would be perfect for church, a fancy lunch or dinner date, or bridal shower.

I liked playing up the pinks in the skirt with this plum hued crossbody bag. It’s a great size for holding all of your essentials, while being nice and streamlined- not too bulky.
The top is a fun halter style that goes perfectly with this skirt, but also with so many other options. You could easily wear it with jeans and booties for a night out, or slacks at the office.
Top Fit: I’m wearing size XS
There’s an unexpected tie at the back, which makes wearing your hair up a great idea. Along with a great pair of statement earrings.

Although we’re talking Fall florals, I wanted to show you a super chic monochromatic look that’s sure to turn heads. The same skirt is available in this solid blue that matches the top perfectly. Wearing one color from head to toe gives you the illusion of added height and I’ll take that in a heartbeat.
I’m 5’1, but you might not know it unless you see me standing next to someone. Or maybe when we meet in person at the Pumpkin Workout & Meet Up at the end of the month. I hope you can make it- I’d love to meet you in person!
And for this outfit, instead of tucking in the top, I left it out and tied it in a knot.

Top • Jeans • Boots • Similar Leopard Belt
For a far more casual outfit, jeans and boots are the way to go. This dark green floral top is particularly Fall friendly with the mix of yellow and very pale pink flowers.
A little bit of leopard is always a good idea, and since the pattern is on the smaller scale, it doesn’t compete with the larger flowers in the top.
Top • Jeans • Boots • Similar Leopard Belt
I also like the pleated ruffles at the sleeve and neck- such a fun, feminine detail.
And you guys, I’m in love with these jeans! They are by Wit & Wisdom and they are not only incredibly comfortable, they are mad with “Ab-Solution stretch denim” that shapes, smoothes and lifts in all the right places.
I agree! I feel amazing in these jeans and they fit comfortably all day. You can’t see it with these boots, but they also have a raw edge hem.

All of these looks were found by searching online at Nordstrom. I always find their website extremely easy to navigate and the reviews are super helpful! I’m normally a solids kinda gal, but I do love a good floral print. The tops and dresses below also caught my eye! If you’re reading this in an email, you’ll have to click through to my blog to see.
Have a fantastic day friends!
