40 Screenshots Of People Who Are Unaware Of The Existence Of LGBTQ People And It’s Like They’re Living Under A Rock

LGBTQ history dates back to the first recorded instances of same-sex love and sexuality in ancient civilizations. Ancient Egyptian royal servants Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum, who lived c. 2400 BCE, are believed to be the first recorded same-sex couple in history, so you get the perspective. But many oblivious people refuse to believe that being homosexual, bisexual, queer, and transgender are as old as history itself. In fact, some delusional people would go as far as to think they've spotted actual mistakes in movies, books, and media that speak of LGBTQ existence in the past. And thanks to the wonderfully colorful corner...

Hi friends!  I hope your week is off to a great start!  I had a productive Monday, which always feels great.  My workout was just what I needed and I’m so thankful that I’ve been getting lots of good sleep lately.  Maybe because I’ve gotten Jordan back into her own bed. And I’m working on going to sleep earlier, so I wake up feeling rested.  It’s incredible how much your mood and energy improves when you’re giving your body the rest it needs. Since spring is here (or almost here for many of us!), I decided to focus on the wardrobe essentials I’m able to wear in the spring, summer and fall seasons. The low budget items are either under $50 or under $100 (tees/tops are going to be under $50, jeans/shoes, etc will be under $100), and the medium and high budget options go up from there. Obviously if this was a year-round essentials post I’d include a few heavy sweaters and coats, but figured we’re all over the cold weather right now anyway. If y’all like this post, I’ll be sure...

13 Spooky Christina Rossetti Poems

The first book of poetry I ever owned was an anthology of Christina Rossetti poems, and I’ve always been struck by her very distinctive style. Though her writing is gorgeous, it’s characterised by an intensely Victorian morbidity which makes it perfect for Halloween! On a related note, try these spooky books for Halloween too! #1. Remember Remember me when I am gone away, Gone far away into the silent land; When you can no more hold me by the hand, Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay. Remember me when no more day by day You tell me of...
