Hi friend! Yayyyy for Friday! We are slowly but surely wrapping up the school year. The sports banquet was last night and it was such a treat to get to acknowledge all of the hard work that the athletes, coaches and volunteers put towards our season this year.
Our school was the track champions for the second year in a row and we couldn’t be prouder.
Also, this was the first year (in forever) that we had a football team! It was a 6-man team and the kids grew so much during that season. My son was the quarterback, I was a team mom and James’ dad was one of the coaches. There were a lot of ups and downs since this was such a learning experience for the kids. I loved getting to be on the sidelines and it was hilarious as I was the “water mom” and most of these kids are taller than me!! Also, a major shoutout to Mia, the only girl on our team and she kicked butt!

My Size Reference: I’m short (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110 lbs. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XSP/XS in tops and dresses.

If I didn’t have them on myself, I’d never believe these jeans were actually jeggings. And I really like them!
They slip right on over your hips with an elastic, flat front elastic waist band. There is a faux zipper and faux pockets that are great because they don’t add any extra bulk or white outline.
These are a skinny shape, but very opaque, so no chance of seeing through them. Also, the price is right!
I paired them with a boatneck style top- such an elegant neckline. And of course, the horizontal stripes are a classic!
I must mention the shoes! These braided heels are so good and the color is right on. Not too orange, just a lovely tan for Spring and Summer.

Another classic top is the henley, but this one is extra since it has that nice ribbed texture. The snaps are functional and this pale pink is pretty in person.

I’m definitely loving the bold aqua blue color in this puff sleeve top. It’s a thin sweater knit that you can wear from work to weekend. It would also look great with skirts and pants.

Here’s my Summer evening uniform. White jeans and cute, comfy tee. This neutral look is a classic combo in my book. The tee is relaxed with a u-neck and cap sleeve.
The jeans are high waist with a single ripped knee and raw edge hem. I’ve worn them for years and they’re still going strong!

I like the longer length of this tunic tank and how you can wear it untucked or front tucked. The pink color is also pretty in person, but there’s lots of colors to choose from.

These tanks are a wardrobe staple in my closet and now they have a square neck style. They are extra long, so if you’re tall, you’ll really love these. They’re nice and stretchy and can be worn for lounge, sleep, alone or with a cardigan or jacket.

Y’all! I have been searching so hard for a great pair of slacks that fit a petite body well without alterations – and I finally found it! These pants fit perfectly in the waist, hips and length! I’m 5’1, currently about 107 pounds and they are perfection! The material is silky soft and they are so flattering with the fitted waist and flowy wide leg.
My only critique is that the pockets are visible in the creamy color I’m wearing. I’m sure if you got a darker pair, that wouldn’t be an issue.
The bodysuit is double lined perfection and regular bra friendly. I just ordered it in more colors.

For a dressier pair of shorts, this paper bag waist style is a winner. They’re similar to the paper bag waist pants I always wear, but in a shorts version. They have double front pockets and come with the tie belt.
I paired it with a bright pink tank that is great for a pop of color. It’s a lightweight knit with a lot of stretch, so it also looks great with jeans or jean shorts. Would be really pretty with white jeans too.

It comes in a ton of different colors and also looks good worn casually with sneakers and a ponytail for weekend running around. Over 26,000 positive reviews.
I would prefer a size down so that it’s more fitted, right now the ruching is sagging on me, so make sure to get your true size.

This tank dress feels AMAZING on! It’s by Amazon Essentials and a silkier version of the tanks I love by the same brand. I bought it in two colors (comes in 7) and you can style it for dressier or casual occasions.

Oh wow, this dress is absolutely STUNNING and feels amazing on! It’s silky smooth and feels expensive, but it’s only $43!
The style is so chic too! It has one open shoulder with beautiful draping at the high neck, then the opposite shoulder is covered. The top blouses over the fitted skirt with a slight flare. You’d be beautiful in this dress at a wedding or other fancy event. Lots of color options too.
