5 Spring Outfit Ideas with Flat Shoes

admin

I’ve enjoyed sharing these “week of outfits” reels and have had several requests to do one featuring flat shoes! Today’s post (see the video on IG) is a compilation of practical and comfortable looks I’ve worn recently, all with flats. If you’re just building out your shoe collection, my two must-have styles for a capsule wardrobe are a pair of sleek nude flats and classic black loafers – almost any outfit can work with one of these two shoe styles!

1. Tunic Sweater + Slim Trousers + Loafers

My favorite outfit amongst the bunch composed of all wardrobe foundation pieces! This is the oversized knit I mentioned recently in this post on a few Mango staples. The fit of these WHBM stretch pants is everything I want in a slim black pant, and I wear these loafers so much dressed down with leggings and jeans.

2. Monochrome Sweater + Pleated Skirt + Nude Flats

Striped Top + Knit Skirt with Nude Flats

Sam Edelman flats (current version), EP skirt set xxs, Everlane tee (similar), Sole Society tote (similar)

Chunky Cardigan + Ankle Pants + Neutral Mules

5. Boyfriend Blazer + Shell + Slim Straight Jeans + Pointy Flats

If you don’t own this sleeveless shell yet, it’s one of my most-worn pieces for throwing on beneath a cardigan or blazer. The back is a knit jersey so it’s very comfortable while the front is made of a dressier fabric.

I wouldn’t do distressed jeans for a traditional office, even on denim Fridays, but I’ve worn this outfit for an informal meeting where I wanted to feel just a lil’ more pulled together. I’ve heard from so many of you over the past two weeks how much you LOVE these jeans as well after trying this brand for the first time! Really wish they’d make them in a non-distressed wash, too.
