It’s just another day in paradise over here as the days mosey on by at home

Now that I have more time on my hands and cannot do other things, I have developed a new appreciation for nature and a slower pace. In the evenings I have been going out with my kitties and letting them play while I sit on the front porch breathing in the fresh air and taking in all the beautiful colors on the horizon. Seriously so relaxing. Then there are these waterfalls – they are a couple of miles from our home and have been a nice place to go for a little break from the monotony. Typically this spot is deserted, so it’s been a good place to sit, breathe, and just be.

This is what I wore on Easter, and it felt so nice to be dressed up for a couple of hours! I had actually been planning to wear this pretty pale green and soft pink combination to the office, but who knows when that is going to be again. Meanwhile, I figured there was no reason to wait and pulled it out for the holiday. These pastels are Easter Bunny approved!

My 52Frames submission for this week’s theme – A Different Angle. My angle is shot from above. Every year we have birds build nests in our hanging ferns on the front porch and I was lucky enough to capture these sweet babies mid-peep.
