I shared this look in a recent e-newsletter, and hope those interested were able to snag their size in time! The tailored ankle pant has always been a key piece in my wardrobe, since it looks great with either flats or heels. For a petite figure, I look for a higher rise paired with an ankle grazing length, and fluid-feeling fabric that drapes nicely.
These pants from Express are super lightweight and breezy without being too thin, and I love that the cream color has beige lined pockets that don’t show through! You can pair it with an elevated blouse like I have on or a button up shirt (as seen here) for work, or I love how they look with a strappy camisole for a dressed up pairing. I tried this pant on in both Short and Petite and the fit was nearly identical! They also make these in a curvy cut in multiple inseam lengths for ladies with a higher waist to hip ratio.

The details on this satin blouse are just lovely closer up, from the tiny pindot texture throughout to the array of draping pleats along the neckline. This top also looks elegant tucked into a skirt or high rise white jeans.
