Good evening! The cooler weather has me thinking about the holiday parties, outings, and upcoming dinners we have on our calendar. As a child my mom made us a velvet dress every year and in high school and college my grandmother made us velvet skirts, I still have one that I wear every so often, so I think of velvet as a staple for my holiday outings.
