Fashion Month concluded today in Paris, closing out a season that included such highlights as a stunning collection from Christopher John Rogers, an immersive experience at Gucci, and runway appearances by Naomi Campbell and Karen Elson. There was much to delight in on the runways—from reimagined trench coats to elevated plaid pieces—though we drew equal inspiration from what we saw editors, stylists, and buyers wearing as they jetted from show to show. Bold color blocking, animal prints, and perennial It bags were seen both in New York and across the pond, inspiring our next purchases (and possibly yours, too). Ahead, five street style trends to shop right now.
Bold Color Blocking
Royal blue and bright purple? The loudest orange with the most fiery red? A yellow that puts taxi cabs to shame? Yes, yes, and yes.
Sophisticated Neutrals
Browns, beiges, and creams combine for effortlessly polished looks.
Perennial It Bags
Nothing beats a classic. (Ever.)
Black and White
Sometimes the most simple palettes are also the most elevated. Case in point.
Animal Prints
Strong enough to stand on its own, a great animal print piece is also great to throw over anything—from your most distressed jeans to a sleek leather skirt.
