FAQ
Is there some sort of posting schedule?
Yeah, I try to post “Morning news” before 8 a.m. the “Daily Politics Brief” at 9 a.m., “Treasure Valley blogs” at noon and “Afternoon food & drink” at 3 p.m. I also try to post my “Where in the Treasure Valley” picture each weekday at 10 a.m.
What about the beer posts?
On Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s I try to post a beer review in the afternoon — for no reason other than that I enjoy good beer.
What are you, some kind of beer snob?
Nah, I just like good stuff — however don’t be surprised if you catch me with an outstanding Stone Brewing offering one day and a Coors Light the next.
What is with the vegan stuff?
My wife is a strict vegan so most of what I eat around the house is vegan. Frankly there isn’t anything wrong with it, we could all eat a little bit less meat, it’s better for us and the environment. That being said I still get my share of meat and I enjoy it. I will however encourage you to check out some of the vegan links and consider making them, you’ll find that it’s not as bad as the commercial meat industry has made it out to be.
What else?
Whenever I find something else to post about it’ll just pop up sporadically, maybe on the weekends but most likely I’ll post stuff on restaurants or other things I find interesting on weekday afternoons.
What’s with all the “try’s”?
I just can’t guarantee that I’ll always have access to internet, that I’m in town or that I’m in front of my computer. For the most part I’ll stick to what you see above. In the summer I do quite a bit of camping and I’m not always sure that I’ll have access to the internet. I do what I can to keep the site updated and relevant, after all I want you to keep coming back to check it out, so rest assured that I’ll do whatever I can to post new and fresh content.
Are your links all SFW (Safe For Work)?
I realize that a great majority of readers check out TreasuredValley.com while at work and I strive to make sure that all the links I post are SFW. If something is not SFW then I’ll note it with a bold NSFW text. All that being said I don’t know the individual policies of everyone’s place of employment so I can’t be held responsible for what you click on at work. I will do my best to post things that don’t get you in trouble because I do value you as a reader and want to keep you around.
Hey, you linked to my blog and I don’t want you to!
Ok, shoot me an email and I’ll take it down.
Hey, you never link to my blog!
Maybe I don’t have it in my feeds or I haven’t heard of it, shoot me an email and I’ll add it to my collection.
What about comments?
For the most part I’ll leave comments be, I’ll only delete comments that are clearly spam or personal attacks directed towards other commenters or individuals.
What’s the “@” mean in the comments?
Just means I’m talkin’ to someone in-particular.
Speaking of Twitter, are you on any social media sites?
Sure, I’m on Twitter here and you can become a fan of TreasuredValley.com on Facebook here.
I’ve got a question for you, where do I send it?
If you have any other questions or comments you can hit me up here.
