Contributors
Treasured Valley is very thankful to have these wonderful people contribute content to help keep our our site fresh, informative and fun.
- Amy Pence-Brown is an independent arts professional, stay-at-home Mom, blogger — Doin’ It All, Idaho Style, and thrift store junkie in Boise, Idaho. She is a native Idahoan who received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Idaho, and her master’s in art history from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. Pence-Brown is also adjunct faculty in the art department at Boise State University and serves on both the Visual Arts Advisory Committee and as a Historic Preservation Commissioner for the City of Boise. She loves taco trucks, the Dixie Chicks, the smell of old books, and her Snuggie. You can find her “Off the Beaten Path” posts on Treasured Valley. You can also follow Amy on Twitter here.
- Z.V. House started the Boise band A Seasonal Disguise and plays bass in The Very Most. You’ll find his weekly column “The Relevant Ballads” on Treasured Valley each Monday afternoon. You can reach Z.V. House here and follow him on Twitter here.
- Michael Boss is the CEO (Culinarily Enhanced Orator) for Behind the Menu (www.behindthemenu.org), a media group “celebrating the Treasure Valley culinary scene”. As a child of the ’60s whose current career ambitions include becoming an internationally celebrated raconteur and bon vivant, you probably don’t want your children exposed to him via a televised classroom address…but you can read his blogs at Treasured Valley without signing a permission slip.
- Ryan Montgomery lives in Boise with his wife Kristin and their dog Gertie, he just so happens to enjoy the food and drink of our great valley and beyond.
- Whitney Rearick, digs food and sustainability. She lives in Boise and is on the steering committee of the Treasure Valley Food Coalition. You can find her “Trip the Food Fantastic” posts on Treasured Valley.
