Indeed.

Frankly, I'm kinda surprised that In-in-out hasn't made its way to Boise yet.

Wow! A lot of people here to do out! I am a single person and I eat lean cuisines at home. Once a week I whip a gourmet meal and set the table. I enjoy not eating out. I used to eat out three to four times a week two years. I stopped eating out and lost 80 pounds. I feel good too! Even if I am out and about, I just pack sandwiches from home. Seriously, our fast food lines are through the roof. Way too many people are eating junk and it is adding to the obesity epidemic. People are becoming regulars at a fast food chain? Seriously? That is just as bad as a regular at a bar, however on the light side alcohol has less calories and fat than fast food. The amount of grease and fatty oils can lead to serious health problems. Even if you work out it still does not cancel out the amount of calories, fats, carbs, cholesterol, etc that you find all these food items. Really, just taking a little extra time can give a little extra life and healthy one at that, too.

I'd say Los Betos is fast food, and good stuff at that. There are a lot of great local fast food options around the Valley, Squeezers, Wheelers, Los Betos, etc, etc...

I don't think there is anything wrong with eating fast food per se, but personally I support the local grub over the chain stuff. I can proudly say it's probably been at least 2 years, if not more since I've had McDonalds, Burger King or KFC.

I go to Wendy's for chili (plain, no crackers) and an ice tea anywhere from 3 to 5 days a week. (OK, it's a bit much, but chili is a perfect food, and I'm a regular. They know me and my order and take GREAT care of me!)

I have to admit I hit fast food joints several times a week. On nights when my son has hockey practice we grab sub sandwiches. And sometimes it's the easiest option for grabbing a bite on a busy lunch hour. I'm not proud of it. And local vs. chain depends a lot on what part of town I'm in.
