I know what you mean about Arctic Circle. I used to work next door to an Arctic Circle, and I used to crave their fries and fry sauce. Their food isn’t that great, most everything is soggy, yet it is strangely addictive.

I lived in Nampa in the 70s (my first daughter was born there) and when my husband and I wanted to eat fast food (we was poor people) we thought Wheeler’s was the bestest best burger around.

Of course, back then, it wasn’t painted up all pretty. But they had the elongated rectangle burger even then, and truth be told, if I didn’t hanker for Skipper’s fish (all sources closed on this side of the state) I’d go to Wheeler’s instead every time I visit Nampa.

I don’t eat Wheeler’s burgers, but I love their corndogs and onion rings. Their shakes are awesome also. The combination of all three is classic drive-thru heaven.

Big Bird in Meridian has my vote. It has some good reviews from customers in the BW

I have to go with Big Jud’s for best burger in the valley.

Melli, now that you mention it, the Arctic Circle ranch burger sounds good. Of course that may be because I know I can get a lime rickey to go with it.

Wheeler’s is always good. It’s even worth always getting a bit of soggy napkin with your bit of burger (and the chocolate Cokes are great!) Bad Boy and Jud’s are on my list, but I’ve been craving Artic Circle, of all things, lately.

The best burger in the Treasure Valley, at least fast food burger, is probably Bad Boy Burgers. Big Bun is a definite contender too. Wheeler’s is probably my favorite in Nampa, though. I like it better than Blazen Burgers, which is Wheeler’s only real competition in Nampa, IMO.
